Nancy Hensley arrived at Stats Perform in April on the heels of three decades working for two of America’s most iconic blue-chip companies, IBM and McDonald’s. She specialized in analytics and artificial intelligence for 20 years at IBM, steadily climbing the ladder to chief digital officer of the tech giant’s Data and AI division. Before that, she worked in McDonald’s corporate office for 10 years in IT, operations technology and then real estate analytics.
She joins Stats Perform as the new chief product and marketing officer. The company arose last July with the merger of Stats LLC, which specialized in performance analytics and AI, and Perform Group, which managed video, data and betting rights. Hensley recently spoke with SportTechie about her career, her new role and the importance of being essential.
