Beijing, China – 17 June, 2016 – Prozone, a pioneer in sports performance analysis, will deliver elite license training to Asian coaches next week as part of a year-long national coaching programme organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and Chinese Football Association (CFA).
Coordinated by the Technical Department of the CFA, the coaching programme is open to coaches from member associations of the AFC, Chinese Super League (CSL) clubs, and leading women’s teams in the region. Prozone, acquired by STATS LLC in May 2015, will deliver advanced coach education as a key part of the event which aims to further strengthen efforts being made in China to upskill coaches and deliver elite qualifications.
The summer programme will feature a session delivered by Tao Wang, Prozone’s General Manager for China, who will speak to coaches about data analysis, applied technologies and best practice case studies on Monday 20th June.
“Prozone has been working closely with the CFA and CSL since 2012 to enhance the understanding and application of elite performance analysis in Chinese football,” said Wang. “Prozone’s contribution to the coaching programme highlights our commitment to improving China’s football infrastructure and educating the next generation of elite coaches.”
Coaches who successfully complete the programme will gain valuable knowledge of specialised physical coaching, best practices, and applied performance analysis as China continues to upscale its coach education processes and wider football infrastructure.
