CHICAGO, SYDNEY – October 2, 2017 – STATS, the worldwide leader in sports data and intelligence, has been selected as the Official Data Supplier for the 2017 Rugby League World Cup. The partnership will include STATS suite of products for Rugby League analysis, reporting and data services before, during and after men’s and women’s international league matches.
The 2017 Rugby League World Cup (RLWC2017) will be hosted in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea from 27 October to 2 December 2017 and features 14 men’s and 6 women’s teams from 16 competing countries. As the official data provider, STATS will offer a full range of Rugby League performance analysis solutions, including STATS Gamelens™, STATS Rugby League Pro and more, as well as API data services for media providers of RLWC2017.
Throughout the competition, STATS data will fuel the Rugby League World Cup 2017 website, as well as content for fantasy and media providers. The men’s and women’s teams competing will also receive STATS Rugby League Pro, with match reports and comprehensive breakdown of all games.
