LIMERICK– April 17, 2019 – STATS, the revolutionary leader in sports AI, announced Dr. Helen Sun, Chief Technology Officer, and Gráinne Barry, Regional Operations Director of EMEA, will speak at the IEEE 5th World Forum on Internet of Things (WF-IoT) at the University of Limerick today, April 17. Dr. Sun’s panel session begins at 11 a.m. IST, while Barry’s begins at 11:40 a.m. IST.
Dr. Sun will speak on the panel “The Power of Data” and will be joined by Sebastian Steinbuß, Director Lead Architecture at International Data Space Association, and Sven Löffler, Business Development Executive at T-Systems. She’ll examine emerging trends in sports data, including how organizations, teams, and individuals can harness the full power of data through advanced technologies like artificial intelligence and computer vision technology to unlock new insights and analytical methods.

At 11:40 a.m. IST, Barry will participate in a panel for the Women in Engineering Program, “Leadership: Insights and Experience from Leading Women in Technology.” She’s joined by Grainne Murphy, IoT Marketing Manager at Analog Devices; Maria-Alexandra Paul, Researcher at EPFL; and Ita Richardson, Associate Professor at the University of Limerick. The panel, aimed towards professional women in technology, will provide support for women across the industry by fostering discussion and collaboration.
