CHICAGO– June 12, 2019 – Given rapid growth in the marketplace, STATS, the revolutionary leader in sports AI, announced the promotion of two company leaders to vice president roles. Dennis Dougherty has been named vice president of marketing and Brian Orefice as vice president of global operations. Dougherty first joined STATS in 2015 as marketing communications manager and the head of global demand generation. Over the years, he has overseen projects spanning all areas of the division, including product marketing, demand generation, go-to-market strategy, communications and business development. In his new role, Dougherty will run point on all marketing initiatives for STATS’ global brand.
“Dennis demonstrates all the aspects of an exceptional marketing leader, including a deep understanding of our products, capabilities, marketplace, competitive landscape and client’s needs,” said Steve Xeller, STATS’ Chief Revenue Officer. “His ascension comes as no surprise to his team or the clients who have worked with him over the years. I look forward to seeing how Dennis will continue to elevate our global brand and drive new opportunities for the company.”

In his new position, Orefice will serve in a cross-functional capacity to generate operational efficiencies in STATS’ global production centers, tracking processes and global goal setting.
“Brian’s contributions and achievements at STATS over the years are too long to list in one place,” said Mike Perez, Chief Operating Officer at STATS. “Like all great leaders, he has created a strong team around him and manages by the numbers to drive production efficiencies and success for our business. Under Brian’s management, STATS has created a self-sustaining production system that provides the fast and accurate information our clients expect.
